Charcoal slat media wall with a backlit marble TV surround and a linear fire in a floating marble console

Custom TV walls

Media walls, fireplace walls and concealed TV installations. Mount, cabling, lighting, stone and cabinetry designed together, fabricated in the shop and fitted by one crew.

What you get

Everything behind the screen.
Nothing on show.

A TV wall from us is a single piece of joinery, not a bracket, a panel kit and an electrician who turns up last. We set the screen out to the room, chase the services in behind the substrate and build the panelling, stone and cabinetry around it.

  • Recessed or flush mount sized to your screen, with a serviceable back box behind it
  • Concealed cabling for power, HDMI, soundbar, network and console, terminated where you can still reach them
  • Integrated lighting: backlit surrounds, vertical reveals and warm-dim strips on a dimmer
  • Stone, slat or plaster surround with a floating console, linear fire or shelving built flush
  • Your TV or a new one: we mount what you own, or supply and set up the screen and soundbar

TV wall types

Six ways we build
a TV wall

Most projects mix two or three of these. Tell us the room and the screen size and we'll draw the version that fits.

Slat and stone media walls

Charcoal, oak or walnut slats with a backlit porcelain or marble panel behind the screen and a matching floating console. The wall most clients come to us for.

02

Fireplace media walls

A linear electric fire set into the console or the wall below the screen, with the clearances the manufacturer specifies and the fire on its own circuit. Lit niches either side if you want display space.

03

Built-in niche walls

Plastered stud-and-board walls with recessed shelving, downlit niches and the TV set flush into the face. A calmer, more architectural look for plaster-and-paint interiors.

04

Slat walls with lit reveals

Vertical LED reveals cut into the slat run either side of the screen, dimmable and warm. Works on a full wall or a floor-to-ceiling panel behind the console.

Bare plaster.
Finished wall.

This wall started as bare plaster above a tiled floor. We set out the screen centre first, then built the charcoal slat run, the backlit porcelain surround and the floating marble console with the linear fire around it.

Every cable is behind the substrate. Power, HDMI and the fire's supply are chased in and terminated in a back box you can still get to, so the wall looks the same on the day the TV is upgraded.

Questions

TV wall questions,
answered

Can you use the TV I already own?

Yes. We build the recess and the mount around your screen's exact dimensions and VESA pattern. If you upgrade later, the back box and the mount are sized so a same-class screen drops in without touching the wall.

Where do the cables go?

Behind the substrate. Power, HDMI, network and the soundbar feed are chased into the wall or run inside the framing, then terminated in a serviceable back box behind the screen. Nothing is surface-trunked.

Do you handle the electrical work?

The mains side is done by a licensed electrician who works with us and is part of the price. We coordinate it, so you are not booking trades separately.

Can a fire go under the TV?

Yes, with a linear electric fire and the clearances the manufacturer specifies. We design the console depth and the venting around it and wire it on its own circuit.

How long does a TV wall take?

Typically two to four days on site. Panels, stone and cabinetry are cut and pre-finished off site first, which is why the install is short and the room stays usable.

What does it cost?

It depends on width, finish and whether there is a fire or cabinetry. After a free visit you get a fixed written price with a drawing and a render, and it does not move unless you change the design.
